ACT! by Sage 2006 delivers many new high
impact user productivity features designed to help you access customer
data faster, manage your time and tasks more efficiently and organize
contact data more productively. New features and enhancements include:
- Link Contacts and Companies quickly and easily.
multi-select contacts from the Contact List View and link them with
a Company already in the database, quickly and easily
- View all Group memberships for a contact.
View all Group memberships for a contact in the Contact Detail View
- Better manage contacts with Group improvements.
Easily see relationships using the Tree View and keep groups up to date
easily, from the Contact Detail View
- Manage meetings with ease. Easily update
or change a meeting that has already been scheduled.
- Synchronize only the attachments you need
improving performance & security.
- Don't lose data, meet the challenges of remote
employees. Database synchronization expiration has been extended from
90 to 365 days.
- Grant select administrative functions to
remote users. Provide your remote users with the ability to perform
select administrative functions to their remote database, without providing
users with full administrative rights.
- Integrate with Lotus Notes
- Access critical contact and customer details
through Citrix or Terminal Services. Multiple users from different offices
can access the same ACT! database, without the need for VPN access.

GoldMine
GoldMine has released GoldMine Plus Accounting
Link for Quickbooks 3.0. GoldMine Plus Accounting connects front and back
office data to provide a single, unified record for all transactions that
relate to a given account. Users will no longer have to manage separate,
unrelated systems to access customer, sales, accounting, and operational
data.

Salesforce.com introduces AppExchange - the world's first on-demand application
sharing service! The AppExchange from salesforce.com makes finding and installing
new on-demand applications as easy as downloading a song or buying a book
online. With the AppExchange, companies can browse and test drive dozens
of new on-demand applications and install them into any salesforce.com account
with just a few clicks. It's a new online center where salesforce.com subscribers
(including trial users!), partners, and developers can share their on-demand
applications for everything from handling expense management to tracking
purchasing, monitoring recruiting, and beyond.
Installing an application from the AppExchange
is simple as well. Before you click to install it, you'll see a complete
list of everything included with it. Customizations are created automatically
in your environment, including the objects, fields, reports, dashboards,
and Web links you'll need. Once installed, these apps run alongside the
on-demand sales and support apps included with all Salesforce subscriptions.
Need to modify the app? No problem
because all the apps on the AppExchange
are built on salesforce.com's on-demand platform, Appforce, they're easy
to customize.

SalesLogix
Look for Service Pack 3 for V 6.2 with a target release date of October
2005! This service pack focuses on performance with improved core architecture
for performance including dramatic performance gains for large groups.
This service pack also serves the web client making it more scalable and
standardized and fully compatible with existing installations & customizations.
The web client will now have a 5 times smaller memory footprint, 5 times
more users per Web server and 200 Web users will be faster than 35 on
v6.2 SP1! Look for Service Pack 3 in the coming weeks!
