TIPS & TRICKSGoldMine: How to Locate Duplicate Records: Having trouble locating duplicate records in a table that does not have a primary/unique key such as the GMTLog table? Here's what you can do: Perform the following SQL Statement in Query Analyzer:
This will return any duplicate records, which you can then delete. When you try to save an order product in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you receive the following error message: "You must enter a number between 0.01 and 100,000,000,000.00." This problem occurs if you set the value of the price per unit of the order product to 0. The problem occurs because the value in the Minimum Value field in the Attribute:Price Per Unit of Order Product dialog box is actually 0.01. To resolve this problem, change the Price Per Unit attribute of the order product so that the minimum value can be 0. To do this, follow these steps:
When the publishing process is complete, click Close on the File menu. This was a problem with version 1.x as well only there wasn't a resolution. When creating a mail merge template, it is common for users to create the greeting using the Contact's first name. However, what if you haven't captured the contact's first name? You don't want the mail merge to read, "Dear ____:" To avoid blanks in your mail merge fields, you can provide substitute text in your merge fields - text that will be used if a recipient's record doesn't contain data in that field. Substitute text displays after a comma in the merge field, for example, {!Contact_FirstName,Greetings}. In this example, if the Contact had a first name, it would read, "Dear Mary". If the first name was blank it would simply read "Greetings". In Version 6.2, users are allowed to share their
groups from within the Sales Client. In previous versions, users had to
go into the Architect in order to release groups or contact the System
Administrator to do it for them. In V6.2, releasing a group is quite simple.
Go to the Group View (F8). Right mouse click on the Group Name tab and
select "Share Group" from the menu. Next, you will need to select
to whom you will share this group. Highlight the name of the user(s),
team(s) or Everyone and click "ok". Of course, only the Group
Owner can share their own groups. |
