Spring 2011 is here and CRM software Salesforce.com's tagline for this release is "More social. More mobile. More success." So what does that mean and what's in store for us?
As you may have noticed, Salesforce.com is making a major push on the Collaboration Cloud with Chatter. They have really boosted the marketing on this CRM software
product (did you see the Super Bowl commercials?) and have made some significant enhancements including: Chatter Desktop, Chatter Feeds, Chatter Search, etc. If you are interested in learning more about this product, please feel free to view our recorded webinar.
But not everything is about Chatter. Salesforce.com did make enhancements to other areas of their product as well:
- Dynamic Dashboards (Sales Cloud): Measure everyone on the same performance indicators. View dashboard data tied to a specified user.
- Report Builder (Sales Cloud): Let everyone build reports with drag-and-drop ease.
- New Cloud Scheduler (Sales Cloud): Simplified Scheduling of group meetings w/ prospects and customers.
- New Salesforce for Outlook (Sales Cloud): Add email to any object, activity attachments, and Chatter and Outlook contact sync.
- Multilingual Knowledge (Service Cloud): Translate knowledge articles into multiple languages.
- Suggested Knowledge Sidebar (Service Cloud): Solve cases faster with suggested articles in the sidebar.
- Visual Workflow (Force.com): Add complex business logic to your custom apps.
- Criteria Based Sharing (Force.com): Define data-dependent sharing rules with clicks, not code.
