New Enhancements For The Salesforce CRM Software Outlook Connector

Salesforce CRM software has released a new version of the Salesforce for Outlook Connector -- v1.3.170.
The following are a list of Email Enhancements in this new version:
- My Unresolved Items has been expanded to include unresolved emails for users with Add Email and Email to Salesforce enabled. Users can use this page to manage all the emails that have been added to Salesforce CRM software but haven't yet been associated with other Salesforce records or confirmed as unassigned.
- Email to Salesforce includes some new settings that let users further specify what happens when emails are sent to Salesforce using their Email to Salesforce address or the Salesforce for Outlook Add Email button. To access these settings: Click Your Name | Setup | Email | My Email to Salesforce. You can now:
- Choose whether you'd like all emails to be sent to My Unresolved Items so you can manually assign them to related records or whether you'd like us to first try to automatically assign them.
- Choose whether you'd like emails we couldn't automatically assign to be sent to My Unresolved Items.
- Attachments on emails that are sent using Email to Salesforce CRM software or Salesforce for Outlook version 1.3.170 or later can now be saved with the email's task record in Salesforce. Click Your Name | Setup | Email | My Email to Salesforce and select Always save email attachments to enable this feature. The size limit for an attached file is 5 MB. The size limit for all files attached to an email is 10 MB.

To upgrade your Salesforce CRM software for Outlook, click Your Name | Setup | Desktop Integration. Select Salesforce for Outlook and follow the on-screen directions.
