Salesforce.com CRM Software: Mass Update and Mass Edit

There is a tool on the Salesforce AppExchange by Force.com Labs that allows you to mass update and mass edit selected records from any filter view or related list. You get two easy-to-use tools designed for both administrators and standard users.

Highlights

  • Select all or a subset of records from any list view or related list and update them
  • Modify records in the list view or related list using the multi-line editor
  • Mass transfer records or set a field to an empty value -- and it's extendable to custom objects
The mass update and mass edit application supports the following entity types out of the box: Campaign, Lead, Account, Contact, Opportunity, Contract, Product, Case, Solution and Asset. With 15 minutes of work, you can add it to any custom object in your organization.

This application works on any filter view as well as related list.

For more information or to test drive this application, please visit the AppEchange.
