Remove the "Reply To" in emails sent from within Salesforce

Ever notice when an email that is generated from Salesforce (workflows, for example), the "From" display says "no-reply@salesforce.com [mailto:noreply@salesforce.com] On Behalf Of <User Name>"?

This is ugly, right?  We thought so too.  There is a way that the "From" field can have the username and email ID in that field.  Here's how:

  1. Go to Setup | Email Administration | Deliverability
  2. Locate the "Email Security Compliance" section
  3. Uncheck the "Enable Sender ID Compliance" check box
  4. Click Save.
Email Security Compliance
PLEASE NOTE: When "Enable Sender ID Compliance" check box is enabled, it complies with Sender ID email protocols.  This declares salesforce.com emails as coming from an authorized IP address.  For more information, visit the help page on Email Deliverability Settings.
