President of Harvard Solutions Among Those Honored by the National Foundatation for Teaching Enterpreneurship Harvest Solutions is a consultancy specializing in Customer Management Relationships (CRM) and Sales Force Automation (SFA) founded by Lejfer in 2001. It is known for its staff of highly experienced professionals and their commitment to a planned approach to CRM projects utilizing such systems as ACCPAC CRM, SalesLogix, Microsoft CRM, Goldmine and ACT. The company was formed a year or so following the sale in 2000 of his previous company, Success Automation. Also based in Waltham, it had been acquired by a venture-backed ASP. "This honor is particularly meaningful for me," said Lejfer. "I understand first-hand the risks that accompany an entrepreneur each day but I've also been lucky to experience the gratification from seeing an idea grow to successful fruition. I always try to be supportive of other entrepreneurs who seek my guidance." Lejfer is a graduate of Bentley
College where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Accounting and a Masters of Science in Taxation. His
professional affiliations include the American Society of
Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of
Certified Public Accountants. He has been a guest lecturer at
Bentley College and Boston University School of Management. He
is also a popular speaker at numerous industry seminars and
conferences on the benefits of CRM and SFA. Among them have been
INC Magazine and DCI CRM Conferences. He has been featured in more than 250 publications including the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, Boston Business Journal, Mass High Tech, Selling, Selling Power, Sales and Marketing Management Strategies and News, Sales & Field Force Automation, Bankers and Tradesman and many industry websites. He served on the Business Partner Advisory Boards for Best Software and FrontRange Solutions. Lejfer is a resident of Newton where he resides with his wife, Nancy and their four children. He sits on the board of the American Technion Society, New England Holocaust Memorial, American Jewish Committee, Board of Overseers of Hebrew College as well as active participation in many others. He recently completed a two-year leadership development program sponsored by the American Technion Society.
