Effective November 2006, Harvest Solutions sold the GoldMine and ACT! consulting and training practices in order to focus on our core applications – Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Sage CRM SalesLogix.

The GoldMine practice was sold to and will be serviced by HawkerSystems, LLC.  HawkerSystems was founded in 2004 by Rob Hawker.  Rob has been working exclusively with Frontrange products for over 8 years.  HawkerSystems is a Frontrange Authorized Solutions Provider.  They offer consulting and training on GoldMine, iGoldMine, HEAT, HEAT PowerDesk and GoldSync.  Additionally, HawkerSystems is partnered with many of the leading 3rd party add-on solutions for GoldMine.

The ACT! practice was sold to and will be serviced by the John Anthony Group.  The John Anthony Group is a computer training, consulting and web design firm.  They offer computer software training to individuals and businesses using online training classes and individual one-on-one instruction.  ACT! Training is John Anthony Group’s specialty.

“I am confident in the abilities of both HawkerSystems and the John Anthony Group to support our GoldMine and ACT! clients respectively.  We are excited to focus on our core products and continue to provide outstanding service to our Salesforce, Microsoft CRM and SalesLogix clients and prospects,” states Sid Lejfer, president of Harvest Solutions.

NEW TRENDS: Introducing Apex...the next generation in on-demand development

Salesforce.com is introducing the future of on-demand development -- Apex.  Apex is the first on-demand programming language and platform that will allow developers to write and run code on salesforce.com’s shared architecture.  With Apex, developers will be able to create exceptional levels of customization, allowing them to modify the behavior of existing features or create new ones.  Additionally, with the release of this new Apex programming language, developers will be able to use the same tools that salesforce.com’s own development team uses.  Apex applications can be packaged and shared in the AppExchange directory as well.

What does this mean for you?  It means that you will be able to expand the functionality of your Salesforce system by adding new features and new business logic that your company requires.

Although Apex in not currently available (due out in 2007), please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
