Microsoft Dynamics CRM

When creating a Microsoft Dynamics CRM workflow rule, it is often tempting to pack as much logic into a single rule to keep the amount of rules small. I would recommend that you break out the rules into logical bites and name them accordingly. You can then tie the workflow rules together by inserting the action, "Run subprocess". This will allow you to enhance or change the workflow process in more manageable sections rather than the scrolling through the on large unwieldy rule.

Do you receive signed contracts via fax that you need to attach a Salesforce record? If you're using a faxing service such as EFax, you're in luck. When you receive the fax with the signed contract in your email, simply download the attachment and save it locally. You can then upload the signed contract into Salesforce under Notes & Attachments on the Contact, Account or Opportunity. This saves space as compared to scanning the document and uploading it.
