Salesforce
The Salesforce/Winter '08 release features a powerful new enhancement that is sure to increase data quality, user adoption and productivity. What is this new feature? Inline editing! Users will be able to click on a field to edit it directly from the detail page, saving several steps in entering/updating information in Salesforce. With inline editing, you will be able to:
- Edit fields directly on detail pages
- Reduce the number of clicks needed to edit information
- Users may press the enter or escape key on their keyboards to quickly confirm or cancel an edit, removing the need for additional mouse clicks when modifying fields.
- Users can quickly undo an individual change by clicking the undo icon next to the edited field.
Note: This feature is available in all Salesforce applications. This feature is disabled by default and requires administrator activation in the set up area of Salesforce (Customize | User Interface).
